* You also receive a complimentary 11×14″ print with each session. After we have finished capturing the first year of your child’s life, you then receive a custom designed 10×10″ fine art leather flush mount album (a $750 value) that showcases the your little miracle throughout the year. It is a beautiful way to showcase all your images.
This is a $1200 value that we are offering for only $900.
You will notice that we do not include a nine month portrait session with this collection. That is because we have what we like to call a Grandparent’s Session during this time. Grandma and grandpa can come on down and help out and even purchase some images for themselves. We are taking half off the sitting fee for the Grandparent’s Session when you book the Little Miracles collection with us. We are also taking half off the sitting fee for a maternity session when you book your Little Miracles Collection with us.
After each session, you come back to our home studio as we display all the images from the session on our 50″ high definition plasma TV. This is also the time where you place your print order and where you will order specialty products such as birth announcements, photo boxes, coffee table books or fine art canvas gallery wraps.
Nostalgia Collection:
It is amazing how just a few short years ago people would ask me if I shoot film or digital. Now, I the big question is “what digital camera do you use?” I can happily say that I am lucky enough to have been in the industry long enough to have actually learned photography in the darkroom with film and it has always held a special place in my heart.
As one can imagine, I still get a ton of questions about why I still shoot film. My answer to them is that I feel a certain kind of excitement when I shoot film. I’m like a little kid in a candy store when I get the proofs back, seriously! I think I narrowed it down to it being that anticipation I get when I am waiting to get my proofs back so I can finally see them and the “oohs” and “ahhs” that I do as I flip through them. I can only imagine that this feeling I get as the same as my clients feel when they see their images for the first time.

There is definitely something to be said about film. The grain, the color saturation and contrast, and all those little nuances are still missing in digital captures. To this day I can still point out images that were shot on film as opposed to digital. I think that the best part is that digital photographers are spending countless hours working in Photoshop to try and make their photos look like film. My question to them is “why not just shoot film?”
